Therapeutic Massage and Myofascial Release

When I'm not chopping, grating, steeping and skimming ferments, I practice therapeutic massage.

After graduating from Wesleyan University in 1992, I attended the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and completed their 600 hour training in August of 1993.  My husband and I then moved to Vermont and began our lives here.  For the next fifteen years, I practiced massage in Burlington and grew to love my clients, colleagues and the work.

In 2006, my husband and I were blessed with a daughter, and the next year, a son.  My parenting responsibilities compelled me to close my Burlington practice; now I enjoy a slower-paced, but equally fulfilling, home-based practice.  I feel honored by the responsibility my clients give to me when they allow me to work on them.

Massage, like fermentation, is mostly about process.  When we move mindfully through any kind of practice, the results are beautiful, whole, and often surprise us.
